Spurling
Vincent created Anger Tools after decades of struggling with his own emotional patterns rooted in childhood.
Behind Closed Doors
Vincent was born and raised in Dallas, TX. He is the youngest of five children.
Growing up was seemed normal during his childhood and adolescence years. But as he grew older into late adulthood, he realized things that appeared normal were not.
Both parents created a hostile environment through many arguments which, in today’s society, would be considered abuse.
He knows the journey because he’s lived it.
Today, he works with a similar population, to include youth, young adults, and people struggling with substance use disorders as a result of their childhood. He has been in the field of substance abuse for over 20 years working in children’s treatment program, adult rehabilitation centers, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), and supportive and intensive outpatient treatment programs.

Vincent Spurling is certified by the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium and the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, ensuring trusted, professional guidance throughout his work and writing.

A Message of Hope
and Healing
While still serving in this capacity, he continues to offer many participants in treatment the tools and coping skills needed to challenge behaviors as well as irrational thinking.
“There is hope for all those that suffer from unresolved issues or addictions. This book will help shed light on ways to resolve and heal. I hope you enjoy it.”
